This is the same kind of ending I would have put in my novel! I'm sorry about your dog, losing her in a hard time is like a double whammy though with 19 years... that's a very good run!
I can’t even make this stuff up. My life seems to be its own little drama. It gets interesting and dramatic all on its own. Even when I’m minding my own business. Paul’s story line will be front and center for the next two chapters….

Funny how things happen when they are supposed to. so sorry about Chloe I can't even imagine how much it hurt. they truly become a part of us. I'm starting to see even more how Bella and Diana (aka crackhead) are the same... crazy dogs!
My little Chloe girl….what a ray of sunshine she was. I miss her. I would see her everywhere after she was gone. Glimpses of her out of my peripheral vision, double takes at a pillow on the floor, etc.
Bella was and is a lot of dog. The only golden I’ve ever known to have the temperment of a Doberman. She throws “don’t mess with me” vibes everywhere she goes. Also, she will submit for treats. She’s a whole oxymoron.
